RioCapto is a boutique investment firm established by Wout de Gier and Kay Formanek.

Wout (Dutch) was living in Rio de Janeiro (Rio….) when he met Kay (South-African) who was living in Cape Town (…Capto) during a flight from Miami to Chicago back in 1998.

Not only they have become life partners, also they have put together funds accumulated through more than 2 decades of separate careers to start boutique investment firm RioCapto. The firm is selectively open to informal investors (members) to join.

Required is a personal fit, clearly unique added talents and an additional capital need given the number of qualified investment opportunities.
